Help required with windows problem

I am not saying this is related but I got my car back yesterday from the garage who was doing my brake hoses and aircon pump and now since ive had it back my windows dont work as they should, now they drop 2inches and stop then I have to press the button again and yes another 2 inches and stop press button again and this goes on until the window is fully down, then its the same going back up, every 2 inches and stop etc etc, this is the same for the drivers and passenger side, they worked fine since ive had them, has anyone else had this too ??? driving me nuts .
