    Hi Guys
I am looking for a set of tyres for my trip to Spa.
I would normally take a set of track wheels in the back of my car, a set fitted for the drive to and back or wet track, i normally get a garage to put my tools, spares, overnight bag etc in so i don't have to carry all that stuff around the track.
The garages at Spa are £140 a day, so what do you do ????
I was thinking maybe, of getting a set of tyres to do the journey there, the two days on track and the drive home, but unsure what would be the best

  2. I was very happy with NS2-Rs last year for our October Spa + Ring trip as my only set. They are surprisingly good in the wet. They're still on the car now...

AD08Rs, I done Spa in the torrential rain and they were superb

    ianplymouth and ultralight like this.
  4. Second vote for AD08Rs.
Best combination tyre that can handle fast road and track work (in the dry it's a bit slower than a semi, but not as much as one may think)

  5. Used AD08rs at Spa last year, really hot day and must say they performed brilliantly.

    cheers for that guy's
Had Ns2-r before, on 595 rsr's at the moment but wondering if they would last for 2 day's at Spa plus the travelling there and back.
    what's your thoughts on ao48-r's ????

  7. Should do. They start at 7mm. They handle the heat well and stabilise at 2.5 bars hot. The 180 grade that is. The 120s get there quicker but won't plateau for as long. I am on 6k miles on mine including 4 track days and just had to rotate once.

  8. I done a few laps of the Ring, 6 x 20 minute sessions at Spa and the round trip I done was almost 1,600 miles. I use my car as a daily also and I would say there is still around half the life left in the tyres.
