Hi all, the passenger side DS1 xenon bulb is not working on my 2007 R26, so I have no low beam on the passenger side. So far I have confirmed it’s not a problem with the bulb, so that’s out of the question.(tested the bulb in the other side) I removed the original ballast that’s connected under the headlight to find that it was corroded to all hell(despite the drivers side xenon working..) so I’ve replaced that and cleaned all of the connectors that plug into it, still nothing. Every single fuse on the car has been checked, nothing found. I have traced the wiring as far as I could but also am seeing no issue? If anyone could answer a few questions before I just take the plunge and send it to Renault and burn a nice hole in my pocket... Q.1 Under the passenger side headlight there is a black box that two harness plugs go into (the box reads ‘calculateur pilotage eclairage’ 8200 528 158). Does anyone know the purpose of this and could this be the problem? Q.2 inside the headlight housing there is the loom that you plug into the ds1 bulb. I can’t see a way of replacing this cable without having to split the headlight, is this correct? A wiring diagram would go a long way if anyone could provide one? Any help is appreciated fellas so don’t be shy cheers!
