Ok, so I was swapping the number plate lights out on the back of the car when I accidentally (because idiot here forgot to turn them off!) touched the screwdriver across the lamp terminals Aaaarghhhh! Spark and the lights went out, well, the numberplate lights, N/S headlight and O/S tail light. I went through all the fuses in the glove box, none seem to have blown, I looked under the cover by the battery, but the fuses in there seem to be too great and Ampage to be for lights. Where oh where is the fuse that I have blown? HELP! Please?
How easy is it to release the ECU on top? Is it just the battery wire that holds it in place? Or are there hidden fixings that I need to release before gaining non genealogical access And why in heaven’s name did they hide it such an obscure place!
There's a bolt top right of battery tray as well as having to move the wires. Three bolts in the base of the battery tray once you have removed the battery itself. Stupid place to put a fuse box.
All sorted now, thanks This is what it looks like under that cover + I have ringed the light fuse in blue for others future reference. Widows needed resetting after do did the ASR/ESP. As said, what a F-ing stupid place to put a fuse panel
