  1. Hi guys , was hoping someone might be able to help me out with this one , car seems to be juddering / missfire ing when under pressure dosent seem to be doing it when i take it easy , only if i ease on the pedal, it hesitates then seems fine after, also turbo seems to be fine , any help would be appreciated

  2. The car is an r26 , forgot to mention

  3. Not had any dash lights up, check if a fault Code is stored

  4. No codes have came up and there are no stored

  5. Have you gave it a good run, maybe just damp

  6. Yes mate have gave it a good run the other night , wondering if its a oxygen sensor or boos sensors

  7. Sounds like an injector possibly. If it's not too bad I'd just keep driving until you get a error message and that should then help you track it down.

  8. I had some problems with my R26 when using Tesco 99 fuel, although it is on a remap. Something to do without the amount of bio-fuel in the Tesco fuel caused it to misfire but it also threw some errors. What fuel and which brand have you been filling it up with?

  9. Ive been using bp superunleaded tho in northern ireland we dont get 99 ron , think its 97 , its only happing when i try to come on boost hard if i ease it on it dosent happen

  10. Was going to say try some better fuel, but bp superunleaded is probably as good as it is going to get. Try running a tank of shell v-power through it and see if the problem still occurs. I know that the tesco fuel is supplied by bp...

    BP's super is only 97.

You want to use either Shell V-Power or Tesco 99. Anything else in my Megane makes it idle like a cunt and sluggish when pushing on.

  12. Classy!

  13. Tesco over here dont seem to do there 99 ron and shell garages disappeared a few years ago :worried:

  14. Id be surprised if it was down to fueling sound more like an injector coil. One of mine was dead and the symptoms youve discribed sound identical. Take them out one by one and look of signs of cracking from water ingress.

Theres a bit of info on my project thread iirc somewhere.

I also found on mine that I had some hesitation when under load. Kinda felt like it was coming on / off boost really quickly. Replaced the fuel sender unit and it sorted itself out.

Basically the theory is that it wasn't sending enough fuel to the furthest cylinder. In the long run this can melt the piston as well.
