Help needed from owner of 265/275 with OEM black non-xenon headlights

Could I please have the registration number of a car that came as standard with the black non-xenon headlights.


Before buying some copies off the internet I would like to know the price of the OEM Renault headlights as if they are not much more expensive I will buy them rather than the copies.


My local Renault parts dept. are having trouble tracking down the headlight part numbers therefore have asked if I could provide the registration number of a car that came with them as standard.


Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm assuming that all the headlight shapes are the same and the only differences are silver/black and non-xenon/xenon?

 

Sorry Nick, what I mean was that would a much later CUP-S’ headlight fit my earlier 250? I.e. the only differences between all the different years and models was the colour or whether xenon.

 

When I gave Renault your registration it came up with two options: black & chrome or black & white. Presumably yours are the black & chrome.


Regardless they wanted £500+ (I can’t remember exactly) for a pair!!! Looks like I will be getting the copies from eBay then!

I finally got somewhere with Renault - a pair would've been £380 but one side actually isn't available anymore!!

Not sure I can warrant the extra £180 over getting a pair of copies off eBay anyway, Mark RS is really happy with the pair he's bought so I will do the same.

It may more have been a case then that they were just not available at this point in time from Renault, I didn't think to question him.
