The pipe circled in red on my 250 has snapped (where I’ve marked in blue is where it snapped).

Can someone please tell me what this pipe does?

Anyone know the part number? Presumably it comes as the whole pipe, with one way valve, foam around the plastic pipe etc..?

Is it safe to drive in the meantime?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Oli
It all depends what side of the non return valve its broken, if its the intake manifold side then NO, if its the other side then yes but i would suggest wrapping it with some tape.

Thank you both, yes it is that part.

It’s broken on the other side. So the intake manifold is still governed by the one way valve only allowing air in and not out.

I can get away with not driving it, so I’ll just keep it parked up until the new part arrives.

  4. I just noticed this same issue on mine as well, also snapped in the same end as yours. Fixed it with a strip for now. Getting the new pipe next week.
