so id thought. what's the worst that can happen. changing an alternator belt. As I went to release the pressure to the tensioner with the nut. it sheared right off. (I don't think its been changed ever) stupid question...so is it a case of cutting the belt, and just undoing the bolt that holds the tensioner on. I have a new tensioner to fit anyway.. cheers.
