Hi all, Just joined as I put a deposit down on a black 2007 Renault Megane Renaultsport F1 Team II 230 R26 yesterday (wow thats a long name for a car). Pick it up tomorrow and had been planning on picking it up before posting so I could provide an array of pics, but can't hold back the excitement :cool: Been searching for "the one" for a while, just couldn't walk away from it this time. Previous cars include a Pug 306, Pug 406, a Hyundai Coupe V6 and 2x Pug 206's so I see this as my 1st step into a proper performance hatch and my 1st Renault. Although, the current 206 is being kept so I can use it as a daily until the Mrs passes her test. At which point it will be her run around and I'll nick it from time to time to keep the mileage reasonable in the R26. Anyway, just thought I'd say hi... pics will follow! Ben
Welcome mate! - so much performance car for the money - I got mine in Sept 2014 and can't drive it enough really!, loads of very knowledgeable and helpful guys and stuff on this as well
cheers all! Well, picked her up about 2pm this afternoon and have been adding to global warming ever since! Only the one photo for now, its chucking it down today Everything seems spot on, maybe an issue with the clutch return spring as the clutch sometimes doesn't return the last cm or so - I've read here = http://www.rsmegane.com/showthread.php?7236-R26&highlight=clutch+spring = that the spring from a renault traffic should do the job, but I need to get in the car when its not raining to fully diagnose. Clutch itself seems perfectly find though!! Anything I should have a nose at under the skirt, just as a matter of course?
