Hello I'm not a meg owner just yet but will be at some point this year. I'm currently driving a 182 that I've had for four and half years, in need of a change and can only think of a megane sport as a natural progression. Ideally looking for an R26 but could go for a late 225 with low miles. I joined here to get an insight to what to look for niggles, bad points, everyday running etc and checking everyone's little mods. I've just turned 40 so not sure if it's a mid life crisis or just needing something more grown up to match my years. Anyway thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking to you Mark
The current motor , this was taken on the mulsanne straight in Le Mans. I'm not a complete stranger to megane's as I'm good friends with Naith and Gavin from here.
well i've done it as promised. i picked up a nice LYr26 last night 07 reg with 41k on the clock. i wasn't looking forward to the 500mile round trip but when i saw her i instantly fell in love. it does require a little loving though. its in very good condition with almost new tyres and the bodywork and interior is tidy and clean(its just not to my standard) it has just a couple of marks on the alloys but nothing serious. Cam belt and aux belt done !!!!!!!!!! Pics to follow as i didn't get in till 12:30am. i will also start a project thread at some point. i've not got too much planned at the moment as just moved house so most of my attention is on that.
