Hello. Fairly new to the club, I have a R27 so not new to the RenaultSport family. Been on the look out for a R26.R for over a year now, still waiting for the right one. Hopefully the wait will pay off :rolleyes: Daniel
Really? I thought the Black one that he sold recently was under 10k miles and was mint ? Or was it just the colour.
Colour was the main factor for me on that one unfortunately. I know it's a bit silly to pass on a mint car on colour, but I'm not a fan of black cars in general. Shame really.
I was originally looking for a Lunar Grey one but found a Pearl White one 15 minutes from my doorstep.
Haha how lucky was that!? I'd love a LG too to be fair, or a RB to match my Clio :rolleyes: the rarer coloured cars must be locked away for keeps. Don't think I've ever seen a LY R for sale.
I've only seen one LY for sale. I bumped into the bloke that bought it last year at Brands Hatch. Turns out, he only lives just up the road too :eek: Owned mine for just over 2 years and haven't seen another Pearl White one for sale since.
Hope u find the one u want mate. I was lucky enough to find my perfect one last year but it took nearly 2 years of patience to get it.
Colour is subjective. I really like white R's, the pearl white is just a bit different. To be honest, I'd take any R colour but black.
Not a big fan of black R's either, although they do look alot better in person. Love white R's and was so tempted to buy one but im glad i waited which paid off eventually. I may of missed it in this thread or the other one but whats ur favourite colour for the R mate?
I agree they look well in person. They just lose some of the features in black, and being a little OCD on keeping cars clean, I couldn't own a black car haha. I like a fair few, RB (have a RB R27) and LG but quite fancy a pearl white. What's yours?
I would not we waiting around as prices appear to be firming up, especially at the top end. I was not keen on black or white so was lucky to get a Luna Grey one in a private sale. Have not see another car advertised for less since I bought it 18 months ago. Hope you find the one you want.
Yh i had a black clio not so long ago, never again lol although it was only a run about car so was never gonna get the treatment the .R gets. Other than black i like all the colours to be honest, i came very close to buying a white one a couple of times but thought if a different colour came up for sale after, ide be kicking myself so decided to play the waiting game lol. im lucky enough to have a low mileage Rb with all options. Have u driven a .R yet by any chance?
Lucky guy! I suppose your not ready to sell then by any chance? And I haven't driven an R yet but a few R26's so I can only imagine the difference the weight saving makes and the feeling in the cabin when harnessed into the Sabelts. I can see prices firming but surely they can't keep rising at the same rate for long. At least I hope until I get what I'm looking for lol
haha not at the moment sorry mate, although ive always had a huge soft spot for and exige and driving past one everyday on the way to work isnt helping =/ lol . im the opposite, driven/own a .R but not a normal r26 haha. u still got ur clio? if so u shld do the bedford renaultsport trackday, more than welcome to take u around in mine or drive it etc if u havent brought one by then.
funny you mention it, an Exige S2 is my back up plan should I not find the right Meg. I'm slowly getting frustrated playing the long waiting game haha. I do still have the Clio, not planning on getting rid of that it's mint. Thanks for the offer mate, I don't have any plans to attend at the minute but if that changes I'll give you a shout, appreciate the offer.
