  1. Hi Guys
I am not actually an owner yet.
But after a track day in my mini cooper s, and then meeting Ian from Plymouth and having a drive of his car
    I am Hooked
SO this week I have stripped my mini of all its goodies for the track and its going up for sale.
I am now looking for a megane.
    I need some help
Which to buy is the question.
Should I hang on and get a R26 or get a good 225 sport cheaper and add go faster bits and limited diff ?
    Help would be appreciated

    Hi Pete and welcome
Great to see you have joined the forum, I will let some others point you in the ways of a Magane, you know what i have, an R26 would be better but with the money you would save by buying a 225 it would buy a lot of go faster bits, but the ultimate choice is yours :sunglasses:

  3. Cheers Mate
It was lovely to meet you on saturday, I blame you for getting me into meganes lol

Just a thought Ha Ha Ha
It is all depending on your budget, what you want to achieve and it's a lot easier if you can do the work yourself, if not it might be better to buy one that's pretty much sorted, as it will work out cheaper.

  7. I wish I'd have gone straight for an R26. I currently have a standard 225 - don't get me wrong, I love it, but wish I had waited a bit longer to get the top dog (other than the .R)...

  8. Why mate ? what difference have you found ?

  9. I had a 225 and once I drove my mates R26 I was gutted.
    Now I have an R26 :-)
