My mechanic just fitted a load of parts for, including a set of HEL brake hoses - all was going perfectly until we got to the rear hoses - the ends of the rear hoses have 2 different fitments - 1 side is fine and fits through the mounting brackets fine but the other end is too big so won't go through the mount - so just wondering if anyone else had problems and what you did about it? We are currently in the middle of grinding the holes out to get them on - the standard original hoses had the same fitting on both ends so not sure why HEL haven't used the same On both ends. Very annoying!! My mechanic fitted some goodridge hoses to another forum members car recently and said they were fine so very weird

  2. I bought some hels lines for the mk3( which i sent back because of burr`s in the banjo`s), & i also noticed on the rears that 1 line had a different fitting one end than the other, whereas the other line had matching fittings! As i`m waiting on some goodridges to turn up i can`t comment on there fittings yet.

  3. Sounds like you have one phase 1 (225) and one phase two (230) hose. Completely different fittings in the rear.
