Hello all, Has anyone had any issues with their non-climate heater controls not lighting up ? Last night i had an issue with the lighting behind the dials. When I turned it from the feet position to the windscreen, the lights behind went out... I tapped it and they came back on. Really getting bored of niggly little problems.. Im guessing theres a loose connection behind the dials but i'm not sure how to get to them.. Anyone who has had an issue like this or has taken the front panel off before can you give me some advice ?? Thank you,
Arghhh. Mine has just done this. Left side has a blown bulb i reckon. Are the bulbs changeable? I know how to take the unit out.
Yes, sorry I should have updated this thread. Pop the trim off, I then pulled the stereo out to help access. Undo the 2 torq screws and carefully twist and pull the control panel out. It won't come all of the way but it'll be enough to access the bulb. Change bulb. New bulb was less than 2 quid in Halfords with a trade card. I did all of them.
Half of mine don't light up at times but then will randomly come on again, If its just a bulb as per Chris ill grab some next time I'm in halfords.
