Are you concerned they you're going to loose features from the screen in the center of the dash? (or the R.S. Monitor if you have it?)
I have done this in my 250 - using the proper CAN Bus adapter which means you keep steering wheel controls etc. No problems with RS monitor or anything else! The links for the bits I bought are in the first page of my project thread: http://www.rsmegane.com/showthread.php?t=2624 Hope this helps!
