Headlight question

Hi everyone, I have a 2010 Meg 3 250,it has the xenons fitted, now I'm gonna take them apart and paint and repair the broken brackets, on inspection this evening they have the headlight adjuster motors in them, and noticed inside the light where the ball bit goes on it attaches to nothing, was wondering is there supposed to be a bracket inside the light that goes attaches to the back of the light units and to the headlight adjuster? And if so what is the name of them and here can I buy some?
