Headlight Alignment

Discussion in 'Electrical & Interior - Security, ICE, Wiring Loom' started by RSMegane225, Mar 24, 2014.

  1. Hi my 225 has just failed its MOT due to the passenger side dip light being "Too High".

I had a look at the headlight and found that the little clips that hold the bulb in are broke, so bought a new headlight and now the spread of lights are very low, when dipped I can only see about 6 foot infront of the car.

Anyone know how to adjust the height? Ive tried using the adjuster to the right of the steering wheel but it makes no difference as the new headlight does not have a adjuster motor in it.

Any help here would be great, really need to get it fixed so i can get through the MOT!

    Cheers in advance

  2. There should be an adjustment screw located near the lights. Probably a white plastic one and you might have to access it through a hole from the top looking down. A torch may help you find it.
