  1. Hi Guys,

Before I start let me explain why I got to this situation, the previous owner of my Meggy decided to fit HIDs, along time ago one of the bulbs had melted all behind my drivers side headlight, not wanting this to happen again i've decided to covert them back to stock halogen bulbs, OSRAM Night unlimited ones. I always wanted to remove them so decided yesterday was the day.

I stripped all the bumper off, and removed the melted headlight along with HID kit stripped the lot, I then fitted the new headlight I bought (brand new) and fitted the new bulbs, I also fitted the motor unit to the back of the headlight.

put everything back together happy days I thought.

Later last night I went to a dark wall to align the headlights, so I put the screwdriver in and adjusted the screw.

The problem is the screw just keeps turning around as it has hit it's maximum amount of height.

Can anyone think of something I have done wrong or anything? i'm considering swapping the headlight again at Euro as I think it might be broken.

  2. Possibly a Bulb incorrectly installed?

  3. Silly suggestion but is the Interior cabin adjuster on 0? Simple but I've seen in happen :flushed:

  4. Sorted it, found a Renault shop manual online.

Basically the little motor knob (4) wasn't nestled inside the adjuster, so when I moved it up and down it wasn't doing anything. see (5) on this image.

It's worth noting, I checked the bulb was correctly installed, checked the adjuster in the car was set at 0, this was the last resort.

  5. That picture makes access to everything look so simple. A call to the trade descriptions lot is in order methinks [emoji16] glad you got it sorted

  6. I find it easier to whip the bumper off and take the headlight out, makes it 10x simplier than messing about in the wheel arch, I've replaced every single bulb in every light on the headlights so I don't have to do it again soon
