   The button and pin bit of the handbrake popped out and the car is stuck with handbrake on. How do i get this back in??

   As Chris said new handbrake time.
   
   this happened to me (while on the way to a job interview at some lights) you can use your finger to press the release mechanism in and operate the handbrake but its tricky

   You can put it back in, it will work when the button is put back in the correct position.
