Hi. I recently bought an RS DCI 175 cup lux. Not sure whether to feel proud or cursed but here goes. Everything was working fine on the car, auto lights stop start, windows etc etc.. The car needed a clutch and flywheel replacement, the gearbox was also inspected at the same time with a fluid change taking place. So i got the car back and now when the car tells me to press brake and start it fails to start and tells me to select neutral however the gear is in neutral!! Oddly enough when i put the car in first gear the car starts? The car started in neutral everytime before the work on the clutch was done. When on the road there is no issue with gear selection and the gearbox is fine. Im assuming this is somekind of electrical/computer fault. Does anyone here know what could be causing this. Any pointers are well received. Thanks Paul
Never seen a "select neutral" message. Mine starts in any hear as long as the clutch is depressed or in neutral as long as the brake is depressed. Have you checked the owners manual? Mines a 175 too.
