Goodyear eagle f1 r26

  1. Got a r26 and the fronts are eagle f1 and the backs are pilot sports 3's but one needs replacing and he other prob has 3mm left. Are the f1's good? Don't like having mismatched tyres so tempted to just get 2 f1 on the back to match the car up. Anyone else use these on their r26?

  2. I've got eagles on, can't fault them

  3. I really didnt rate them. Poor sidewall strength.

  4. Get yourself a set of pilot super sports in 225/40/18, £101 each inc delivery

  5. The fronts are new so don't want to get a full set and would rather keep them all the same, will see how they are and can swap them all next time

  6. Exactly, I hate the really soft and weak sidewalls on my F1s. Can't wait to return back to my previous PS3s; much better steering responsiveness off-center. The F1s sidewalls just too soft to give immediate steering feedback; car just feels like hovering with the F1s fitted, wished I never bought them honestly.
