1. Any theory's chaps ? drove 300 yards and bingo, warning message appears, " check airbag" with a/bag and spanner symbols soon followed by the sound of the door locks clicking on and off, a few miles further and "steering wheel not locked" plus "check stop/start".
Tried disconnecting the airbag connectors under the seats, disconnecting the battery all to no avail.
WTF is going on, it's 2015 with 6500miles.

  2. I was going to suggest disconnecting the battery but looks like you've tried that.

Nothing else to go on? Did you do anything before this started - power washed it or had anything done for instance?

  3. 2015? Still under warranty?

  4. Could be knackard battery?

  5. Hi, no, not washed for 2 weeks, battery is fine, put on charge overnight every 3-4 days, it's gone mental and now because I disconnected the battery for 10 seconds it's asking if it's a new battery or not ! plus it's saying oil/filter change due in 3000 plus miles, it's due long before that ! will get it on diagnostics in next 2 days sometime and hope for a solution but I'm not optimistic. :tearsofjoy:

  6. Still could be that battery is toast, regardless (or maybe because) of the charger over night.

  7. OK then, for anyone who gets daft messages appearing willy nilly, my Ren' man ,who REALLY knows his stuff put it on the diagnostic gizmo and it showed all the daft messages re' supposed faults, however none of the supposed faults were actual faults, (a hi' tech battery tester showed Batt' condition @100% and charge @86%) what actually caused all this was a MOMENTRY fault on the drivers door impact sensor which tells the airbag to go off ! this caused all the other messages ! he knocked off all these messages so everythings OK again.
His technical explanation is that the impact sensor, "Threw a wobbler" :grinning: , maybe never happen again or maybe it will, he has seen this happen before on other model Renno's, total cost to me, £20 :mask: I'm well happy now.
