What one are you using? Black or the silver? Is there a massive difference in the two? Black seems like its the better with wi if remote (but using more battery)

You can now use the WiFi remote with all GoPros including the HD1 and HD2 now. I have an original HD Hero and wanted to get a black purely for the WiFI and remote but might not bother now, but then again the sound and picture quailiy is better on them
I tried with just a normal webcam but with one of them I could only do live stream, not recorded. However I found out the other day that they released an official Pi Camera unit that costs £20. Once I've installed that, I'll create a start up script that will start up when the Pi gets power. Add some buttons so that when pressed they do things (start filming, stop filming, turn off etc) and that's about it. There are quite a few guides on the net for people that have done similar things.
