1. Hi all,
After the exact paint codes fot the gloss black and the red stripe on the 19" steev wheels?

2. as far as i know the red is
727 capsicum red
and the black just use any solid black there is no perticular code

3. I'm sure the codes are on the Technical section of the official Renaultsport forum. I'd have a look but can't get on the site from my phone for some reason

4. found it
ov694 for the black and 727 for the red

5. Cheers fellas

6. So i finally got a spare alloy and took it over to lepsons but i wanted to check the paint codes. Gave the ones above but they couldn't find them, so gave my dealer a call ... they didnt have a clue and couldn't find them on the computer!! So called Renault UK and guess what, they didn't know!! They said i could take it to there bodyshop for some swob test and paint match ... not bloody good enough was my reply! They even tried saying as it was a new car this was the first time they'd been asked... really!
Still not good enough as thr wheels have been out for some years! In the end i told them to sod off to the factory and ask the blokes who fit/buy them. They have asked for 48hrs to get back to me .. unreal.

11. Surely a decent wheel refurb place would be able to sort some of those that are shown as not repairable, I wonder how many suckers see that PDF and go straight to Renault for a new wheel ?!?!

Are they not ixell paint code 694?

13. Yeah i cant see any reason those ones cant be repaired. Place i'm using reckons the colours they will use will be a match but i just want renault to tell me the codes. They never got back to me within 48hrs, so will chase them up on monday.

14. Th reason Renault say they can't be repaired is because the wheels are painted red first and then black to achieve the best finish. Doing it any other way would be a nightmare but for that wheel in the pic I would just mask off the red and paint the outer edge with a solid black off our paint scheme.

15. Cant see a reason why someone cant paint it red first then black?

16. It's painting them red then masking off the red pinstripe then painting black then lacquering it that's the problem I would want at least £140 per wheel !!!!

17. Vs £400 for a new one ..bargin.

18. Funny still no response from Renault.
What i did notice is on the renault sport forum they have an 'Ask the expert section@ and someone has asked this very question:

Hi I checked the FAQ page but could not find the colour details for the 265 wheels. I know they are gloss black with red stripe but could you provide the actual colour details please? Thanks

Hi, thanks for the question:
OV 694 for the black and OV 727 for the red
Regards,

These are cllearly the paint codes everyone else seems to be saying so not sure why the alloy place doesn't know them. Lepsons are suppose to be one of the best in the south east? gone back to them for another check?
