Has anyone had any issues removing the gearbox mount to fit the Powerflex insert? Had a go at doing mine today. I removed the three nuts and bolts holding the mount in place after supporting the gearbox underneath with a jack but the mount wouldn't budge. It still felt totally solid as if something else was still holding it in place. Are they known to seize or is there something else that needs removing to get the mount off? Also, out of interest, does anyone know the how much the three nuts need to be torqued up to? Any help would be appreciated, Cheers.
Hi Benno I did one on my mates car and that wouldn't budge either, i let the pressure off of the jack till there was a gap between the gearbox and jack. I then tapped the metal plate sideways on either end and it then let go
