I'm after a gear knob that fits my megane rs250 but can't seem to find any anywhere. Not a fan of the standard one and looked at the metal r.s. Gear knob but I can't justify the price. Similar story with the zeropointone gear knob extenders as I would want to get a short shifter to offset the extended throw that comes with the extended knob. Does anybody on here have any suggestions of alternatives that they have on their megane's as I'm finding it hard to find any others that will fit the lift reverse system. Thanks.
I hummed and errred over this and just ended up getting the metal R.S. one despite the cost due to a lack of other options. If it helps justify it, the shift feels a bit better and it fits straight on with no messing about with fiddly grub screws.
I managed to find a gear knob. For anyone looking for an alternative. I found that a few momo gear knobs fit by taking off the little plastic adaption for the original gear knob on the end of the gear stick. I chose the race airleather lift reverse knob and it suits the interior brilliantly. Also, with me paying half the price I would have for the metal R.S. knob, I think it's well worth it.
