250 Fuse/Wire Diagrams For Lights/DRL's?

Discussion in 'Electrical & Interior - Security, ICE, Wiring Loom' started by Coopz21x, Dec 11, 2019.

  1. Does anyone have the fuse/wire diagrams from the headlights/DRL's.

I'm trying to trace a problem where my drivers DRL doesnt work. I've swapped and plugged them in on opposite sides to make sure its not just the unit or ballast. But they work when plugged in on the passenger side. Another weird thing is the back ones in the actual headlights only works on the drivers side. so again i swapped the bulbs over and again works on drivers but not passenger...?

    Anyone had this problem?

  2. Sounds like the drivers drl supply is connected to the headlight rather than the one in the blade. Has drl in the headlight is not suppose to work if you have the led blade one. Ive read that is suppose to be some kind of link/conection at the headlight/loom to bypass the light, so first thing would be to trace the cables from the drl bulb to plug to loom.

  3. the blade DRL’s aren’t connected when the problem happens on the headlight ones. I’ve taken them off and fitted blanks for now. But would like them fixed

Have you had the bumper off recently ????

Mine wouldn't work after refitting the bumper, there was another connector on the drivers side up above the crash beam beside the rads.

  5. Yeah to get them off. All the connectors are plugged in and the main harness coming from the engine bay that connects down by the passenger wheel arch

Are the pins OK on the connector? My drivers side was playing up and it turned out to be a corroded pin

  7. Yeah :worried: ive checked them
