  1. Think I have an issue with my fuel pump so I intend to change it. I haven't changed one before but is it as simple as it looks? Seat up, knock collar round with a hammer and screwdriver, disconnect pipework/plug and remove, drop new one in and connect it all up? Read it's worth doing when the tank is nearly empty to avoid distortion as well but anything else that can go fantastically wrong and should I buy yet another tool that I'll never use again to do it?

Also, does this fit as it look like a generic part but is significantly less expensive than others I have found for sale: https://www.gsfcarparts.com/183re0200

  2. I've tried to remove the lock collar on mine and still had no luck with a hammer and screwdriver/ blunt chisel just doesn't move
