Has any ever change the fuel line that runs near the coolant expansion tank. I was thinking of fitting a AN fitting to the end if it and running a braided line down to the rail. Use this connector on the hard pipe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272698797466 Anyone ever done something like this? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
You can use quick fiting and it click right on. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/AN-6-6AN-JI...3A2f6ff0ef15e0ab66aeaceb99fffdb023%7Ciid%3A10
Yes I did when I was building fuel return system for my big turbo. I can double check order list of fittings and let you know.
Not sure what quick connect fittings fit to the stock Renault parts, the tang on the hard line off the pump and fuel rail is too close to the rear and I found these quick connects do not fit, either they need filing down or material needs taking off the rear of the hard line shank. Can take a photo to explain this. The OE Renault parts are 5/16 tube, or at least on the R26. The connect clip will not clip over the tang. Are you still thinking about this @matt e ?
i have bought everything but haven't fitted it lol had it for about 6 months ive bought 2 of these one for the rail and one for the pump https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AN-8-8AN...509303?hash=item58d51c1477:g:ezwAAOSwFMZWqil~ Fuel line by matt eaton, on Flickr Connector on rail by matt eaton, on Flickr
the ones on the link are an8 but i cant find the an6 ones on ebay but thats what ive got, i bought the an6 from them though
Thats good yours fit, mine are also from Torques but the non compact version, unfortunately they dont fit on the stock Renault stuff. In hindsight I would have bought black fittings Is this all going on the mk2? Happy to help if I can mate during the install!
