Anyone got a fix for the front wipers not working? Changed the motor out and refurbished the mechanism so not that. Will only work intermittently on speeds 1 and 2 but blows the fuse on setting 3. Checked wiring as far as I can, fuse box seems to be dry with no signs of water ingress. Bit stumped on this one! I’ve read online what I can, possibly a diode on the fuse board has been mentioned? Would the actual wiper stalks fail and cause this? if it were the fuse board in the engine bay, can these be swapped out without any coding? Any help appreciated, cheers
I Presume the scuttle drains are clear?. Blocked drain holes can cause wiper motor failure, and all sorts of problems.
Hi old fella. Yes all clear and have been for a couple of years. It happened just after the long dry spell we had, pretty much as soon as it started raining!
