Hi chaps, Got my car in at the mo... and the front bearing (in the hub) have like a seal around them which looks like it may need replacing too.. my mechanic spoke to london west who advised him you can't buy the seal and its part of a hole hub?? Is this correct... to replace front wheel bearings you need to replace the entire hub? I wonder if anyone can help as I want to get this sorted asap. Thanks in advance C.
I think mark black can get the new seals. I replaced my knakered hub with a new one from renault and it can with the plastic/rubber ring

Aarons auto's rings a bell for some reason might be worth giving them a shout, or mark black does refurbished hubs with new bearings pressed in, you just have to send him your old hubs back http://www.aaronsautos.co.uk/
Yeah just had a quick look on aarons auto sites they definatley replace the swivel bearings and i'm sure i've read before that they can supply the bearings on their own. http://www.aaronsautos.co.uk/services/megane-hubs/
Cheers jj.. called them none in stock.. but speaking with my twchie he only needs the seal which has perished... the guys at aarons autos were extremely helpful and gave me the seal part number to try and find! Shame rhey didn't have them otherwise I would have bought new ones off them anyway! Lol
