Evening all. I have just put some 20mm hub-centric spacers on the rear of my 225, what a difference looks so much better and purposeful. But now I'm wondering if i should put something on the front. Have any of you guys had the same and if so what have you used? Not sure what the biggest size is you can get away with without been hub-centric as cant seem to find anything less than 20mm hub centric ones. Any help would be great and even better if you have a pic. Cheers craig
C'mon you know you must add a picture? Do you have a link to them, I want some spacers too. Put one on the front to see if its ok.
If any of you are on the other site then if you follow this link I added some photo's in May. I have 20mm spacer's all round. http://www.meganesport.net/community/showthread.php?90562-Bought-Wheel-Spacers&highlight=
I got mine from these on ebay. Send them a message and they will sort you out. Fast delivery aswell. Ebay number 290993001259
not seen any replies, but when I had my 230 I fitted 20mm rears and 10mm front spacers. Looked spot on in my oppinion and had no issues
Finally got time to fit the spacers today. Test drove it and no problems at all. Before After Before After Well worth the money.
meant to put photos up ages ago and forgot. sorry went for 20 mm all round with stud conversion, just for looks when i have the red wheels on, and then they will come off when i put track wheels on, (always planned to take them off for track but thought would try with track wheels on just to see what they looked like and it makes the wheels stick out about an inch from the arches ) before: after, can't really see from pic, but the tyre sits just behind the lip of the arch
Looks good. I think 20mm is just right. Was going to go for stud conversion but I dont track mine so didn't bother.
Everyone is entitled to there opinion dave but do you have to be so insulting and rude with it m8?, as I said james I love the stance it gives the car from the rear, great mod mate and I will defo do....
i think it looks ok but probably too much on the front probably needed 15mm on front. The back looks fine though. I think in general the height has to be right to begin with otherwise spacers look wrong.
The rears do not need spacing on Meganes and as above standard height cars look even worse. I don't think Renault signed off and stood back and went shit lads that looks wank, needs spacers...
I don't care what anyone thinks. I like them. I do wonder what Renault was thinking when they designed it with such a fat arse. Some like it some don't.
Me too james, ignore em , looks fantastic and sits way better , nicer to the eye, and now the fat arse makes sense, great job 10 out of 10
I will be sorting the suspension out in a couple of months. Most likely coilovers but wont be dropping it much only about 10-15mm. Don't want to deviate too far from Renaults incredible design and make it look shit by lowering it 30mm.
