Just wondering if the Megane 225 uses the same spring as a standard Megane. Ie the 2L. On eBay it seems to say they are the same. Thanks

You could, but you'd probably break your back on the first pothole! Haven't heard of them on the megane but whenever I've seen them reviewed on Clio's/ other cars the ride quality is meant to be shocking!
Not sure what to do. As I'm basically just trying to get it Mot'd and then sell it. But I can't believe that Renault are looking so much for a standard spring. I realise it has the cup pack but even still.
Have you posted a wanted ad? People seem to sell their springs after they have lowered them? Or if not I'd go with a decent brand, eibach, h&r cooksport etc. If your selling it you may want to consider standard as people seem to prefer standard cars when it comes to buying!
My car is in the garage having two front springs fitted as I type. I went for the genuine Renault times. Which pained me a little bit, and they're not the easiest to fit if the front of the car has never been apart before either..
