Hi there everyone! So I've just bought my new Megane 250 and am absolutely loving it. Coming from a Clio 200 cup it seems like such a more grown up proposition! I was looking at M3's, evo's etc and hadn't really considered a Megane. I thought it would only be slightly faster than the clio, would cost too much to get the spec I wanted and having a bit of a nonsensical dislike of the idea of a turbo (loving the screamer of an engine in the clio). I was so wrong! It goes like s**t off a shovel! The turbo torque makes a welcome change from the clio which took such a lot of effort to get the power out of. The handling... well... it's a renaultsport... it's awsome. And that LSD . It's got a great spec with cup chassis, leather recaros, xenons, rs monitor, 19" flow alloys, auto this, auto that, scorpion zorst. Love it! The dealer I got this from said the previous owner was on the forums. Does anyone recognise the car? I'm gonna try and resist the urge to do too much with it for now, but looking at what a remap gives makes it too tempting to wait Now it just needs a name lol. Thanks for the welcome guys As much as I love the Meg there was something epic about the clio that I do miss a little. The meg is just an animal though so it's swings and roundabouts! I've found I'm driving around at higher speeds than the Clio without even noticing - it feels so composed at speed!
That's the problem. Can drive the clio harder more of the time, more fun in that respect. Meg's are more capable, but there's less opportunity to exploit them.
