I think even with the same tune I could get under the 9.10 range but I really need to spend abit of time with the settings as the car is pretty lively at the moment How you getting on Chris (bar the controller)
I've taken an evening off to prevent having massive rage! Haha! I'll be back on tomorrow I think, hopefully manage to equal my best non clean lap but do it clean. Might try a bit more power at the expense of some weight and maybe reduce the length of 6th gear.
I got standard box at the moment,im toying with the idea of going rwd to drop the level down then build up with box and power.
Ok just tried it rwd and its definately the way to go for me can be abit of a handful on certain corners but im going with this route I think.
Screwed up adenau forrest, the carousel, show boat and some other randoms (dam you vodka!) but got a clean 9.13.274 with rwd. Just trying to upload replay but my net is down :/
I stuck the big spoilers on to try and keep the back end in control. Thats running 288bhp I think. The tunes on the sf again I'm sure under 9.10 is easily do-able *if* I don't mess up lol. Iv got 2 mates who are fantastic tuners, ill ask them if they can knock something up for us
I only did part of the lap with it in rwd and found it planted at the rear without the spoiler but stay away from the curbs so futher tweaks are needed, might try the spoiler on the rear though.
Excellent! I always have to massively slam on the anchors after a massive drop off into a right hander about 75-80% in otherwise the back end bounces me into a massive spin. Could set the spring rates softer and slow the rebound damping, but then it'd be compromised for the rest of the track. I'm going to have a right session on this later.
Sounds like the jump at 'ave it' Chris? Mine bottomed out there last night and nearly spun me clean off. Had to slow loads to keep off the grass :/
Might well be. It's an absolute slam and unless I slow it right down sends me all over the shop. Definite time to be made up there I reckon.
Wasn't bad mate I still think there's some time to find though few sideways moments and I buggered the karussell up again.
What assists (if any) are people using. The only one I'm using is abs,but I'm wondering if TCS might speed things up a bit?
Nothing bar a manual box without clutch as my bumpers on the controller are useless sometimes they work other times nothing.
....Also, is the game accurate enough to understand peak torque etc? Because ringing the revs right out to the point in the red just before the rev. limiter kicks in seems to give a bit of a boost to the acceleration, over changing earlier as you would expect in a turbo'd car and riding the torque more. Or am I way over analysing this?!?!?!
Rewind dirtys the lap anyway. Iv got all off except the clutch. I could be smoother if I used the steering wheel but I'm not cracking as yet lol
I have the wireless wheel, which I've got on well with in the past. No idea if its faster than the controller though. Another thing to try (sounding desperate now!)
Anyone got any suspension setup tips they wouldn't mind sharing? I've got the tune how I want it, but unsure what makes a good setup? Camber/caster etc...
Think I'm using about -0.8 camber f/r and 4.4 camber. My mates sent me a tune that he pulled 9.09 on his first try, iv not had chance to get online yet but will check what he's used

just my 2p worth but the slowest person should have choice on next track as they can prove themselves or have fun trying, just thinking if I was fastest I would pick my next best track so I would be fastest again .....ps its not coz I am crap and I want next choice, it just make more sense to me
