I think this would be better if we did this in a megane. TopGear megane challenge. Megane 250 standard. No assists, although ABS is allowed. Choice of auto/manual/clutch. Full Topgear track. Post your best times below. Sound like a plan?

Okay. Just put in a pretty woeful 1:44.957 in a standard Kia c'eed. That's from a standing start. I did choose a white car as white pkit weighs less!
My red one just did 1.43.364 (I think). What an animal. I even got him a little sideways on the last but one bend

Doing hot lap mate. Haven't played it for ages, and never really played online before that so I'm a bit noob in that respect.
I'll have a crack at that tomorrow, thanks mate. Need to figure out some kind of series or structure to this all. Maybe a TopGear track lap in the Kia, and obviously the Meg round the Nordschleife. Any other thoughts?
Just stick a leaderboard up on the first page? We could do with a few more people thou I think mate lol. Maybe work thru each track or class of cars? Ill happily stump up some millions as prize money if theres enough interest
I will be on later after 7 need to start adding u as friends as then we can see the leaders online too and what assists was on dirty lap ect as you all know its not about the time a quick dirty lap is not as good as a slower clean lap, ps maple is one of my favourites
Excellent. Good work fellas! I agree with the above, a quick clean lap is preferable to a quicker dirty lap. Bloody frustrating if you put a tyre on the dirt halfway through an absolute flyer though.:banghead:
Put a few cars in the garage for you to play with, my cars all had jobs on tag so note they are mostly 600 and 700 a and s class

No mate we all pick a a class through a poll then all picked a track. Each track had one week with a cut off time on the Sunday then points were tallied up. You'll be able to see them if you browse about on 197.net
My internet is down so I can't get on Foza to accept new club member requests? Can you other guys do it?

Ok boys and girls, how about we spice things up a little and try and get a decent competition on the roll? I suggest, Megane RS250 Nurburgring Nordschliefe B class Clean lap Let it run until 8am Monday 12th August. This should hopefully give people plenty of time during the week and also a full weekend if needed. You can tune the car yourself or buy a ready made tune from the storefront. I think I have a decent tune that I can put in my sf for free if anyone wants to try it? You can use as many or as few assists as you like. Save and upload your fastest lap to the storefront as confirmation as some may already have set a faster lap in a different car, which will be saved in the leaderboards. Now, the prize winnings... 1st 10,000,000cr 2nd 5,000,000 3rd 2,500,000 Anyone interested?
Im up for that I haven't really tuned a Megane yet so it should be interesting. That and I avoided the Nurburgring as I can never remember it
Good man Mark Ill check my meg tune and see if its any good. Ilk stick it in my sf for free so everyone can try it. I think have the race from a standing start. Its not so much time wasted then if you crash off on the 2nd hotlap
