   My understanding is the standard valves are 2 piece where uprated valves are single piece so more reliable (in theory at least).

   Engine had only done about 38k miles but it came from a crashed car so heaven knows what went on.
   
   I replaced them with Supertec valves and cat cam springs, i went for the oversized ones as they were the same price.
