I just got my forge hardkit pipe new style p clip and1 have any problems with it touching the inlet manifold
I've had problems with mine too but not rubbing the inlet manifold. Mine is rubbing against the radiator bracket. I'm tempted to return to standard, i dont rate the kit at all.
Yeah I'm pretty disappointed tbh phoned them today and they said they have had no problems so this weekend ill mess about with it if nt phone them back and just say I'm nt happy with it
It's a terrible kit imo. I removed mine a while ago because the fitment was terrible & the bracket that bolts to the inlet manifold snapped clean off.
Yeah iv only had it on a day and can feel it vibrating so I'll see if I can do somthing with it if not then see what they can do to fix the problem
Mine is perfect and it's the old kit... Just play about with it. I had to space out the mount to the manifold and also dremml away the headlight material.
Mine was the old one, it touched the inlet manifold, vibrated like crazy and almost wore through, and no amount of fiddling would stop it. Eventually the mounting bracket snapped clean off as well so I ended up with a custom bracket. Utter piece of poorly made tat in my opinion, I won't be getting another one.
Ah i see i couldnt understand the need to change it otherwise i think a lot of people have that problem from what ive heard
Aye a jut wanted some bling since I had a cooler I had to cut my hardkit pipe tho to come out the side rather than the front bt I got it for 112 brand new from forge
thats cheap, i got mine for £100 of a local lad he had it for 3wk and his clutch was shot so flogged the car lol
Aye coz a didn't need the dump valve hose I or it for tht price. Just ordered drilled and grooved discs all round and booked into ecotune next weekend so I'm skint ha.
ha ha i have a clutch waiting to be fitted but my mechanic guy`s missus is due to pop a sprog so waiting till she pops before i get it done as i dont want him getting half way through and getting "that call" and dropping my car
Aye congrats on the baby tho mate. But I know I'm a mechanic myself all all the work gets done by me I had a recall for brake hoses and was even nervous letting someone else work onit even tho it's the boys I used to work with ha I just prefer doing everything obv mapping ect I can't do
its my mechanic`s missus not mine but cheers any how lol i like to do what i can but when someone offers to do it for nawt and he has all the tools and a workshop at his disposal its hard to say no

Aye anothe feeling iv spent far to much money on myn and I have a loan and a mortgage to pay ha. And to top it off my mates just had his Vxr stage 2 at 295hp with 375nm torque. Took me a run and my god it is fast so I need to do some serious modifiyn haha
I've got a shopping list as long as my arm if I bought everything I wanted I'd have the nicest meg in the country ha ha
Het excited about things and then if I can't buy straight away if end up buying other things that are cheaper then thinking if I'd waited I could have had the more expensive mod

With injectors I am as far as I can go I think without hybrid and rods and I ant going that far, I am going to clean her up scratches and a nice engine detail when I can find some OCD guy round here :-)
