Hello, I have fitted a Forge dump valve to my R26, and have a few questions I would like answers to. The car has not been remapped so should be ok on the standard spring, blue ones included in the box.So should the valve be open at idle, and what rpm should it dump at ?. I ask this because it dose not seem to be dumping at all. I have fitted the blanking plate and plumed the valve into the existing tee piece from which the re-cerc valve was plumbed into dose this sound right ?. Thanks..
Sounds like you have got it all fitted correctly. To hear it releasing air pressure when stationary you would need to give it a good hard rev and as soon as you let off the pedal it should make the noise. Or take it out on a Motorway and put your foot down through the gears. If its not then I can't tell what the problem is.
