Forge Atmospheric BOV with aftermarket intercooler

Hoping someone can offer advice on an issue. My sons RS 250 is fitted with a Forge atmospheric dump valve which as im sure you are aware is fitted in place of the original renault sound generator. No issues all working fine , however he has now fitted a Direnza intercooler kit to replace the knackered oem which was literally falling apart!! All went well until we discovered that the Direnza pipework does not have a boss in the cold side hard pipe as per oem to fit the BOV. Any ideas on a resolution? We dont want to run the car with just a blanking plate or refit the oem valve. Any ideas on a solution would be great. The only way round this is to weld a take off into the cold side hard pipe.
