Ford maniac being converted?

Hello all!

I recently booked my second trip to the Nurburgring for next year, and that got me thinking, I really fancy something that is relatively rare, can genuinely fly around it but still remain a sensible comfortable car for the rest of the time. That didn't leave me with a lot of choices. But the one that get coming to my mind is the Megane RS250. I am normally a Ford man and have owned pretty much every ST there has ever been and 1 x MK1 focus RS.

I currently own a 63 plate Fiesta ST with the Mountune MP215 package on it. Although it was fairly good around the ring and it is a good handling car. To get it up to the standards of the Megane's track abilities would require a lot of money spent on it. Money which I simply dont have! The brakes are very poor for track driving they just get to hot too quickly and fade massively. To get any really decent power out of it I would need to uprate the turbo which would cost many ££££. Whereas from my little knowledge on the megane, a remap alone will give nearly 300bhp which is the figure that I would like when I go next May. I know I will miss how cheap the fiesta is to run but that is a sacrifice I am willing to take.

So I am now on the lookout out for a Megane RS250/265. I have a budget of around 10.5/11k. However I am after quite a specific spec which I fear may be sticking point. Colour doesn't overly bother me but I would prefer white, yellow or grey. Mandatory is cup pack, air con, xenon headlights with drls, recaro seats. I would like the RS monitor but that isn't going to be the end of the world without, I really like the idea of having it BUT I have never had it on a previous car.

Any tips or pointers much appreciated. I am open to the idea of a swap on my car if someone fancies something just as fun but half the running costs.

I did notice that one this morning but it doesn't have the visibility pack with xenon headlights and the mileage is a touch high for my liking. I should have put on there that I want one with less than 50k ideally
