Forced Air Intake

  1. Looking to change the set up on my FAI. Currently got a Pipercross shoehorned in (previous owner) and it can only be pulling warm air and the unit is starting to fall apart since it doesn't fit the space correctly.

Intention is to fit a Carbon Fibre Airbox by turning the battery box 90 degrees and moving it parallel to the engine. This should make room to house the "cannon" next to the battery box then fabricate some housing running down to the grill above the number plate.

Assume someone has done this before? Any thing to be wary of? Also, I've tried searching but I'm sure I've seen someone had managed to send the intake down through the engine bay sitting adjacent to the intercooler?
