For sale is the dismantled forged engine from my R26. Originally built by RS Tuning in January 2017, the engine has done around 10,000 miles. It was removed this winter for a strip down and refresh, but I've run out of time/patience/money/inclination to finish the job! Before strip down we compression tested the engine at ~190psi per cylinder, and in January 2022 she made 315hp and 320lbft on the Engine Dynamics dyno. Spec of the engine from the RS Tuning receipt: 83mm CP Carillo Pistons Manley H Beam Rods ARP 2000 Bolts Supertech Valve & Spring Kit Siemens 63lb Flow Matched Injectors Genuine RS250 Turbo R26.6 SMF and Clutch Kit King Race Big End Bearings Genuine Oil Pump & Bottom End Set Genuine Main & Thrust Bearings Bore, Hone, Balancing, Head Rebuild All parts/bolts have been removed and stored logically, in labelled bags etc. and as can be seen from the pictures I've started cleaning some bits up. As well as the "headline" forged bits, this is a complete engine so everything from the sump, block, head, standard cams, standard crankshaft, spark plugs, coil packs, alternator, starter motor etc. are included. If you're looking to do a forged build, here's an engine already removed and stripped down - just needs a refresh of some of the consumables and then build her back up! £2000 takes the lot.
