Due to a change in workplace, my RenaultSport Megane 225 Lux is up for sale. My old commute of 5 miles a day has jumped to 80 miles a day as of September so I need a diesel! The car is a 225 Lux with leather seats and door cards. It has a Renault detachable tow bar fitted with Renault plug and play tow bar electrics. I have used it to tow my race motorbike bike over the last 2 years. It has a carbon plate fitted to the centre console with the build number on. I've owned it since 2016. Since then I've fitted Cooksport lowering springs. It sits nice and low but able to deal with speed humps. Its great on track. It has Endless RF 650 brake fluid on Brembo HC discs. It has standard pads fitted. The car is HPI clear (print out to prove it), Never crashed or written off. Since I've owned it its had the following done, all by Mark Black at Midlands Renault Specialists... 68445 miles - Cam belt, Aux belt, Water pump, coolant, Thermostat and seal, oil and filter, lower ball joints, Lower swivel hubs, steering rack bush, cabin filter, swivel bearing grease nipples 67353 miles – New clutch (slight upgrade as its a 1.9 diesel clutch), DMF, Concentric slave cylinder and new fluids Every year I service the car myself with new oil, oil filter, air filter etc and anything else it needs Its also had new drive shafts, Suspension top mounts (one had broke so replaced both), New R26R injectors New gearbox oil New rear callipers and new front bleed nipples. New Spark plugs and coils. I replaced every engine/gearbox mount less then 100 miles ago (June 2019) with the correct Mister auto parts. Its on a private plate at the moment but the previous plate was SB07VVT. I will remove the private plate before sale but not sure if it gets the previous reg or a new one? The V5/papers have been sent off to get the private reg removed (12th Aug) The colour is TED69. MOT till Nov 2019. 4 new tyres on the last MOT. The car has 89500 miles but will rise slightly by around 5 miles a day until September and then 80 miles a day! Ideally id like it sold before then. The only bad points are the wheels could do with a refurb, small scratch from a trailer between the tail pipes that may polish out, door handles are faded but can be removed and painted, headlamp washers removed by previous owner and air con needs a re gas. It has standard silver rims fitted now as they were sold a few years ago.
Correct matey. It will be sold on SB07VVT. DVLA have transferred MOT etc over so just awaiting the V5 back. For some reason the original reg looked so much better than the private plate
A few messages on ebay mate. The garage im buying the diesel megane from offered me 2300 so im open to offers between 2300 and 3000 which is what these cars go for with the service history and parts that have been replaced
