Fly Eyes Kit

  1. I just wondered if anyone had used one of these kits on their Megane?

Basically it's a headlight tinting film that apparently lets 100% through it so completely legal. I saw a green Focus RS on DetailingWorld which had dark wheels and tinted headlights and they looked spot on.

We're not talking Barryboy blacked out headlights but a subtle smoked effect on my Trophy, I think would look quite cool.

  2. Sorry but like you rightly mentioned, the whole Barryboy fad has totally ruined any appeal flyeye might have had.

    Im out.

  3. I would like something like this its subtle tint feom lamin x although the uk site doesnt seem to sell it anymore u can get it from laminx.com american site looks better than flyeyes imo

  4. Flyeyes looks great from a distance, but when your up close you can see all the holes in the tint, as above if you have too i'd try some lamin x stuff, much better IMO

  5. couldn't have put it better myself

  6. Aaah ok, that's interesting. I've heard of Lamin-X so will do some homework on that.

As that pic shows, with a light smoked tint it could look good as long as it looks factory not aftermarket. Which would depend on the quality of the film.

I'd Use lamin x if anything

  9. I think it was about 50 quid delivered from usa enough for both headlights and fogs looks miles better than flyeyes imo

  10. I would save the £50 for something useful. Towards the car perhaps or 40 bottles of beer.
