I've sorted my stiff gear lever by lubricating the bush but it it feels like there is a spring missing as it doesn't self centre between third and fourth gear like it should. Any suggestions? (2005 RS225)
Are all parts of the linkage running smooth when it’s out the car in your hand?does it get worse as the car warms up?..don’t over tighten the 4 bolts on the top
Yes it is, the problem is the aluminium gets moist and then corrosion starts, you know the white powdery stuff, this happens between the bush and the hole, then it pushes on the bush and clamps on the shaft.
