225 Fitting of Lower Engine Mount/Dogbone

  1. My Lower Engine mount/Dogbone has gone and in need of a new one, i've researched the part number to be 8200777542.
How hard is it too fit the mount to a 225 Cup? Is it like the Clio 172/182 where it is literally 2 bolts holding it in? or with the Megane do you have to support the Engine with anything?

    Thanks

  2. When my mate changed mine he did the lower mount and the gearbox so the engine was jacked up, It only took him 5 mins though so cant be that complicated haha.

  3. You don't need to support the engine to change the torque link as it only dampens forwards/backwards movement of the engine and no actual weight.

Never done a 225 but on my 265 I have to remove a bracket on the engine to get access but it was very straightforward.

  4. Cheers both of you. Will give it a go.

  5. Take some pics on the proces
