R26 Fitting new spark plugs - do I need to set the gaps?

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by adbett, Apr 21, 2019.

  1. Fitting new NGK plugs to my R26 shortly, do I need to set the plug gaps and if so, to what distance?

Engine is mapped to 265bhp with 630 injectors if that makes a difference

  2. Could go 0.6

  3. if running 630 injectors deffo gap to 0.6mm, need the strongest spark can get with that extra fuel rushing in

  4. thanks, will investigate and reset

  5. do you know who mapped it ??

  6. RS Tuning but with the previous owner, not me
