Went to one of the IAM skills days at Croft today, first time I've had the Meg anywhere near a track - I was absolutely amazed at how much speed it can carry through the corners ! There was a Merc E63 AMG on track at the same time as me at one point, i got totally left on the straights but just can't get over how he could be reeled in through the bends, the instructor told me to ease off a bit as I could've been black flagged ! Would thoroughly recommend these days to anyone, I absolutely loved it I'll get some pics up when I receive my disc
Not at all! The instructors a great guy and a friend of mine and Jonnys, he knows what he's talking about on these IAM days. It was a great day, Jonny the performance of the RS265 was outstanding against the AMG, hope you feel you got as much out of the day as you put in, well done.
It's a driving skills day not a track day, if they think you're racing they'll take you off the track. Nick, thoroughly enjoyed the day, just a couple of corners I felt I couldn't get quite right
