Hi guys just thought I'd pop up some pics of my RS265 I didn't get any before pics but the paint was surprisingly dull in a few areas Took me around 3.5 hours to wash, clay, Polish, wax, wheels, tires, glass etc and I'm happy with the result. I used mainly autoglym products (shampoo, wheel cleaner, ultra deep shine polish) but used G3 wax and Meguires tire gel front is quite beaten by stone chips does anyone have advice as to what to use on those or is there nothing I can do , don't really want to re spray it as i drive on the motorway myself so I'll never be able to keep it perfect anyway thanks have a look, ash
Looks great that. Stone chips, not a lot you can do really - mine is the same from new in 12 months, heartbreaking but that's what you get with a performance car driven 'properly' IMHO. Welcome along BTW
You can try chipex or the ammo nyc technique from YouTube but it does take a long time, or just enjoy it and when it's really bad have it sprayed and then a clear bra put on so you never get another chip! Lovely car though, looks really mean!
Thanks guys! Yeah as it looks great I'm relatively new to detailing but I had a VW Scirrocco and BMW Z4 prior to this that I cleaned probably up to this level but they were white and grey - I think black is definitely a more rewarding colour to polish up
